Spring 2026 Makerspace Mapper Homeschooling Study

Study Status: Active

The Open Design Collaboratory at the University of Toronto Mississauga is inviting families that have homeschooled one of their children fully or partially to this study. This study involves testing an experimental map-based tool designed to help parents find makerspaces in the GTA, ask questions related to curriculum design around making, and consider related local events in their community.

A signed consent form is required for participating. All data will be anonymized and used for paper publications. The study is supervised by Professor Samar Sabie and a team of research assistants. For further inquiries, please contact:
